Mr Roberts and Whaea Heather were walking outside on their break. They saw a girl named Arabella who was being kind to the younger kids.”We should make her a Trusted Trekker” said Mr Roberts. But Whaea Heather didn't like the sound of that. On the last week of school Mr Roberts made Arabella a Trusted Trekker for next year,Whaea Heather was a bit mad. Student summit- How a felt

Kia ora and welcome to another blog post and today we are talking about my Student summit.

Today was a very hard day for me and my buddy Taimana. Me and Taimana made a slide show about mihi maker a pepeha app that is a kids coding game. We had to do a call and explain how the app worked so they could try it out at home. We had to do 2 calls on about mihi maker and 2 other calls to look at and join. A Lot of the feedback was good and some were bad but fine with that. The other workshops we watched was Storyboard that and Mairo. The storyboard that was a amazing tutorial and had amazing presentation. for Mairo the call was so cool to watch and they explained the rules so clearly for us to watch a listen to.

Thank you for looking. please like comment and share. have a nice te wiki o te reo maori. bye.

       The farmer and a haystack

There was a farmer who lived all alone and sold fruit and veggies for money. He was a busy man whose name was David. On a quiet Monday, David put on his muddy gumboots and went to deliver pumpkins. On his way David saw a haystack. He peddled hoping that he could get away, when he looked down his tyre popped and David fell into dirt. His leg was sore and he couldn't get up. The haystack was on it’s way down the hill and hit David in the head. He had a mouth full of hay, ‘“Oh not again!”

Growing up in the age of industry in the city of London could be a miserable existence. Living in the workhouse and working every hour God sent sweating in the mill made Harry’s life difficult, dangerous and miserable. He had a dream that could change his life forever… Every single day Harry would wake up to the sound of chickens and one big rustor sitting on a fence. Harry got fed a piece of bread and went to go to his jobs for the whole day until bedtime. “HARRY!” yelled Mrs Corps, “Get up and wash off your first job is to grab all the washing and the washing bats for the ladies to beat”. Harry sighed and walked through the door, but just before he could take a foot out the door…”WAIT YOU FORGOT YOUR CHESE SILLY BOY” “But..” “No buts if you forget it you will have nothing to eat for dinner or lunch”. Harry grabbed the bag from Mrs Corps hands but before Mrs Corps could push Harry out the door he had rushed off to the laundry room for the ladies. On his way there he saw a big mansion that had broken down in a fire but was still stable for a human to live in and fix. Harry had to stay silent, anything he said to another person would be an extra job in the kitchen if Mrs Crops found out, He would have to make little puttings for the men down at the mining holes and chuck down the extra bread crust from the bread bin so they were happy for the day. He had a friend named Sinde and they cleaned the workhouse after coming back from their first jobs. Once he dropped off the laundry he ran to the work house and got the vacuum cleaner out for Sinde.”It’s a 2 person job and the maid is sick could you help me for today?” Said sinde as Harry’s heart was beating fast…”I would love to” said Harry. On there way to the Cafe Harry got the vacuum out and start to push the pump well Sinde started to clean the hard plank floors. “You will never guess what I found today” said Harry “What is it I want to know!” said Sinde. Harry stopped pumping and took a break. “Hh...I got a VIOLIN AND I'M SO HAPPY!” “Do you even know how to play yet?” said Sinde…”well” said Harry and they just kept cleaning. Near the end of the day Harry ran out the door to get the violin he found by the abandoned house. He put out his hat on the ground near the footpath and played from his heart...A woman came and a man then soon a whole crowd of people. “Look at him play”, “What a talent” said the people. His dream had come true. But what about Sinde, She was punished for not keeping her word, She promised to never be with Harry or talk to him again. She was put into a chamber...They had never met again. When Harry woke up after playing Sinde was nowhere to be found. He ran around the whole village to find her but she was nowhere to be seen. “WHERE COULD SHE BE!”, yelled Harry. “Where is she…”.

-Reflection-

This week we have been working on writing.Take a look at my mahi and please a comment.

I’m fine just breathe, the last words I heard from my mother well she was talking on the phone to the cops. I've always wanted to see what my future was about and every morning I would wake up and look at the mirror to see a lonely girl. I spend my time in my bedroom lonely by myself, I have to sit in my bedroom and I can't do much about it since my mum calls the cops all the time and yet I don't know why.

One night was when it all changed. I couldn't even describe what it felt like when I went to the doctors and they immediately took me to the hospital. My mum was standing in the corner and didn't say a word as she took a breath and said the exact words “I’m fine just breathe”...

”Mum w-where are you?” I had no idea what was going on or where I was. All I remember was feeling Hot and Burning well on the ground. I took a pill that a man fed me. I was trying to get away but now I feel sick.

“Maybe it's the color of the pill or what was on it or in it or, but why is there money around me...am I dreaming?” I think I've lost my mind and I haven't seen my mum in ages, well that's what i think. I got up and I started to wobble, I came right and I knew where I was once I came right. I was at my old house that was burnt down in 1999. It was an old bank that's probably why I had so much money around me.

I was spooked out a bit and walked up to the old broken door, I stood back and took a breath *hhhh* I ran and barged the door open but the door was still standing in the same spot. “WAIT AM I A GHOST” I yelled…my house is so yuck and it used to be so beautiful, that fire was so bad that night I couldn't even get down the stairs that night. But the thing is I was on fire. This must be my house from now. I'm dead so I died in the fire I think…

That's why I haven't seen my mum, But where she is now I hope she is safe and happy without me. That explains the money, the house and mum calling the cops. That's why I had to stay in my room where I was safe.
